First and foremost, you are at the top of my list. This is very very obvious. However! I have many many many others interests :) Since I’m a genuine “it’s the thought that counts” kind of bitch, I actually don’t expect gifts from anyone at all. But I suppose if anyone is interested in what catches my eye as I shop for my own self, here is a general list of my interests: Because of my simple/classic/mainly all-black-errthang style, I am drawn to obnoxious/gaudy/interesting accessories. If you haven’t noticed by now, I am both girly & tough at the same time, so anything falling under those categories is acceptable. I have a growing collection of over-sized rings, because the more the merrier. I tend to stack bracelets upon bracelets upon bracelets. Any kind, any color. There’s really no way to go wrong, because the ones I wear hardly ever match. Owning a lot of wallets and makeup holders is always fun, because I like to switch purses a lot, and the things I keep in them. I usually browse around Macy’s, Nordstrom, Forever 21, Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Express, Hot Topic, and even Target. I love to treasure hunt around Salvation Army, Goodwill, and any other thrift shop. Where I buy my things is always irrelevant. It just doesn’t matter. Hell, I carried a mirror and a cabinet into my apartment today after discovering them in the trash-room. As long as it’s clean, it will be considered. I’m obsessed with all things leopard print, faux fur, or anything the screams “fucking glamorous”. If whatever it is sparkles, glitters & shines, chances are I’ll love it. I prefer gold over silver, but I actually like to combine both. Unusual shit is great. Hypocritical things are fun. What I mean by that is…some things seem so unlike me, that they are VERY me. For example, that Hello Kitty robe of mine? Perfect example! Hahaha. I don’t expect or desire clothing as gifts from anyone at all, because I’m honestly very picky with what I wear…I always have to try on everything, unless of course it’s a 5 pack of XL men’s black t-shirts. Yeah. Don’t hate. I’m addicted to anything vintage, or covered entirely/partially in lace. If it comes in several colors, and I can’t decide which to go with, I usually take the safe route and choose black; that way, I’ll probably get more uses out of it. I don’t believe I own anything brown, so nothing brown, please.. Because black is just so much better. I am so weird, because I kind of like plain notebooks to write in, since I’m constantly writing down to-do lists. Yeah. I love movies and DVDs, and I pick out the ones I want by looking up simple phrases on google such as “Top 10 independent films” and reading the reviews. I’m always interested in books or films that people recommend to me! No Twilight though, please, thankyou. I can’t afford real diamonds or pearls, but they’re cool by me and I can settle for fake! Haha. I have a strong love gothic fashion, and anything revolving around crosses. I can never own too many crosses! I currently am in need of a hot-glue gun. Food-wise: I fucking love cookies & cupcakes & frozen fucking yogurt. Duhhhh. Candles smell great. Sometimes I can lose an unnecessary appetite just by smelling a yummy candle. Clearly, I’m a makeup junkie: MAC & Sephora are my playgrounds. Specifically, I guess some of my favorite brands are MAC, Make Up For Ever, NARS, Urban Decay, LORAC, Too-Faced, Stila, Smashbox, Kat Von D, and Chanel. Absolutely any color of lipstick is welcome into my collection. Eyeshadow palettes are always useful. Leather is sexy, so long as it’s fake. As you have probably heard, “Chains & Whips” excite me, and anything else along the lines of that. Anything with studs or metal on it is great. Alright now. Semi-Funny-ButNotReally-StoryTime: Sophomore I was asked to prom with Clove Cigarettes, Black Nail Polish, York Peppermint Patties, Tolberone Chocolate, and glowsticks in my backyard saying “Prom”. This is the only time I’ve really received anything from someone else that was family, and I’ll never forget it because as simple as those things were, all of those things were all of my interests. But wow! Goodness! I bet I sound really picky, but I’m just trying my best to be descriptive. In all honesty, I’m seriously the kind of person who woudln’t mind getting socks as gift. If you know me well enough, shopping for me is a piece of cake.
